Lifetime Membership
At the Annual General Meeting held on April 28, 2019 the membership approved a proposal by the Executive for a Life Time Membership option for the payment of annual dues. This option is being introduced to make payments easier for members, to encourage long term commitment to our long thriving association, to make administration simpler for future Executives and to encourage even more involvement of the younger members of our wonderful community.
Currently the regular dues are $15 annually and $6 annually for seniors and those living outside the Lower Mainland. The option to pay annually remains, as does the option to pay in advance for 5 years.
In addition, a one time enrollment fee of $10 remains in effect for new members who wish to rejoin.
The new Life Time payment option commences in 2020. Four broad life payment categories were approved by the AGM.
1. Age 25 years to 49 years – $250 one time payment.
2. Age 50 years to 65 years – $150 one time payment.
3. Age 65 years to 79 years – $50 one time payment.
4. Above 80 years – $0 (free)
We will send you a reminder about your payment options early in the new year (Jan 2020), but wanted to make sure you were aware of all options well in advance. if you have any questions, before then, please do not hesitate to contact the President or a member of my Executive.
