Obituary – Anslem Christo Carneiro

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Anselm Christo Carneiro

Anselm is survived by his son Royden Carneiro and his daughter Carolyn Carneiro, brother Philip Carneiro, Iris Carneiro and sister Marie Baracho.

Anselm was born in Mumbai India. He met his late wife Sylvia Carneiro while they were both presidents of the Young Christian Workers (male and female divisions) in Mumbai. He worked in Larsen and Toubro (L&T) as an engineer before he and Sylvia immigrated to Canada to provide their children Royden and Carolyn with better opportunities.
In Canada he worked as an engineer at Nortrak for 20 years before deciding to retire at 72.

Anselm’s funeral mass will be held on July 8, 2023, at 10:30 AM with a viewing at 10:00 am at Saint Matthew’s Parish -16079 88th Ave, Surrey BC.

Eternal rest grant unto him,  O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him. May his soul rest in peace.
